A-Abel Roofing flat roofs are mostly residential (part of an existing house). We remove all old materials to existing deck to ensure no broken or any rotted wood underneath. After knowing that the decking is secure, we install a peal and stick base sheet which is a liberty base that is a GAF Ruberoid product (commercial grade), which comes with a 10 year warranty. Then we torch apply modified bitumen to base sheet. Next we install custom made steel from a local steel supplier. This is for all your perimeters (gutter edges and gable ends). Then the steel is primed with primer (this helps the rubber to inherent to the steel. Next we torch 10” strips of modified bitumen over the metal. This ensures no future leaks.
